APC Grassroots Army Sworn In to Secure Wadada's 2027 Governorship Victory in Nasarawa

One hundred and forty-seven Ward Coordinators, 147 Ward Women Leaders, 18 Development Area Coordinators and 18 Development Area Women Leaders have pledged to mobilise grassroots support for the APC Governorship candidate, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, ahead of the 2027 election in Nasarawa State.
They made the commitment while taking the oath of office during the inauguration of the WADADA PROJECT Advisory Council for Development Areas, Ward Coordinators and Women Leaders in Karu Local Government Area.
Chairman of the WADADA PROJECT Campaign Advisory Council, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, charged the newly inaugurated officials to deepen the party's grassroots presence and strengthen voter engagement.
Hon. Kwanta, who is also Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and Coordinating Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, said their primary responsibility is to mobilise support for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada in the 2027 governorship election.
He described their appointment as a call to duty and action, urging them to work together towards achieving what he described as a new political and administrative dispensation for the state.
The Campaign Advisory Council Chairman also called on WADADA PROJECT stakeholders and APC flag bearers to shun divisive tendencies and work collectively to sustain the development recorded under the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
In their goodwill messages, former Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Henry Omaku; Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Isaac Danladi; Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry, Hon. Mohammed Ottos; and former lawmaker, Hon. Abdullamid Kwarra, expressed unwavering support for Senator Wadada and the APC.
Others who spoke in support of the project included APC candidate for Karu/Keffi/Kokona Federal Constituency, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, and Chairman of the City Boy Movement in Nasarawa State, Dr. Yahaya Abdullahi Jaji.
Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of Karu Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Bulus, who represented the Executive Chairman, welcomed participants to the ceremony, setting a tone of unity and purpose.
Representatives of the newly inaugurated officials expressed appreciation to the Advisory Council and pledged to work tirelessly to deliver Senator Wadada and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
Among dignitaries at the ceremony were the APC candidate for Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency, Hon. Tony Bala Shammah, members of the WADADA PROJECT Advisory Council, local government coordinators, women leaders, APC flag bearers and other party supporters. The event marked a significant step in the party's early preparations for what promises to be a highly competitive electoral contest in the state.
