Former IG’s Benevolence Reaches Thousands in Cross-Cutting Distribution

“May God bless the former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, for giving us rice, semovita, oil, and money. Hmm, I am grateful.”

Those were the heartfelt words of Hauwa Musa, a 50-year-old widow who was left with five children to raise after her husband’s passing. For her, the assistance arrived not as a mere donation, but as a lifeline.

Mrs. Musa is among thousands of Nigerians, particularly the less privileged, who benefited from the benevolent food distribution initiative by the former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The distribution teams traversed all 13 local government areas of the state, ensuring widespread impact. The exercise was notably conducted without regard to political affiliation or religious belief, focusing solely on need.

Witnesses reported that the process was transparent and inclusive. So thorough was the effort that even individuals whose names were not initially on beneficiary lists ultimately received a share of the provisions rice, semovita, cooking oil, and financial support bringing solace and sustenance to countless households like Hauwa  Musa.
