Land Rights Battle: State Attorney General Appears in Court to Defend Revoked Allocation

In a significant legal battle over property rights, the Nasarawa Attorney General and commissioner forJustice,
Barr. Isaac Danladi, appeared in court on Tuesday to defend the state against a suit challenging the revocation of a citizen's land allocation.

The plaintiff, Mr. Moses Hussaini, took the Nasarawa Geographic Information Service (NAGIS) and the Ministry of Lands to court, alleging that the withdrawal of his land rights was illegal and a violation of his fundamental human rights.

Barr. Danladi, leading the defence team, urged the High Court in Mararaba Gurku to dismiss the case, arguing that the court lacks the jurisdiction to hear it and that the suit is frivolous.

The presiding judge, Hon. Justice Sunday Bawa, has set a date of November 20, 2025, for the case to continue, leaving both parties to await the next chapter in the dispute
