Kaduna Commissioner Hails Governor Uba Sani's Peace Efforts

kaduna State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Honourable Yunana Markus Barde, has commended Governor Uba Sani for his sincerity and commitment to ensuring lasting peace in Southern Kaduna and Kaduna State as a whole.

Barde made the remarks while addressing journalists at the Kafanchan New Township Stadium during the 2025 Southern Kaduna Prayer Summit. He praised Governor Sani's holistic approach to peacebuilding, fairness, and execution of developmental projects across the state, which has contributed significantly to the prevailing peace and normalcy.

As a former Chairman of Jema'a Local Government Area, Barde shared his experience of maintaining peace during his three-year tenure. He attributed this success to his leadership style, which emphasized mutual respect, understanding, and the recognition that people need one another to coexist peacefully.

Barde also commended the organizers of the prayer summit, describing it as a crucial event that brings people together to pray and seek divine guidance. He emphasized that everyone is an instrument in God's hands and encouraged participants to embrace the summit's unique spirit of unity and togetherness, regardless of their differences.
