CMD Gives Stern Warning to DASH Security as New Uniforms Are Commissioned

Timescope News

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Akwanga, Dr. Esala E. Abene, has officially commissioned new uniforms for the hospital's security personnel, accompanied by a firm directive on professionalism and discipline.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Abene charged the security staff to take meticulous care of their new kits, emphasizing that the longevity of the uniforms depends entirely on proper usage and maintenance.

In a clear reference to the hospital’s zero-tolerance policy on misconduct, the CMD laid down strict ground rules for the guards. He insisted that all security personnel must maintain a high level of discipline and present a smart, professional appearance at all times. Dr. Abene explicitly prohibited the consumption of alcohol or any form of intoxicating beverages while on duty within the hospital premises.

He issued a firm warning regarding the use of the uniform outside working hours. According to the CMD, the uniforms are designated exclusively for official use within the hospital’s premises. Any security personnel caught wearing the uniform in town or anywhere outside the hospital grounds will face severe disciplinary action.

The uniform commissioning initiative underscores the management’s commitment to bolstering safety, enhancing the hospital's corporate image, and ensuring that all staff adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct.
