Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial Zone, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah across the district, Kaduna State, and the nation at large as they commemorate Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement made available to newsmen today, the Senator said: "As we commemorate Eid-el-Maulud, I join my Muslim brothers and sisters in Kaduna South Senatorial District and across Nigeria in reflecting on the life, teachings, and enduring legacies of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)."
Katung emphasized that the Prophet's life of humility, compassion, tolerance, and service to humanity remains a timeless guide for all. He added that his example teaches everyone to love one another, pursue justice, and live in peace with all neighbours, regardless of faith or background.
"On this special occasion, I pray that the spirit of Eid-el-Maulud will inspire greater peace, compassion, unity, and hope in our communities, in Kaduna State, and in our dear nation Nigeria. May it also bring prosperity, healing, and blessings to every family," he prayed.
The Senator wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous celebration.
