Timescope News
The leadership of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA) has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his continued commitment to merit, excellence, and good governance through the appointment of competent professionals to strategic public offices.
The association's Worldwide Leader, Dr. Mandy David Abunlaya, stated this when ECDA officials paid a congratulatory visit to the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Akwanga, Dr. Esala E. Abene, in his office.
According to Dr. Abunlaya, it is precisely because of the governor's dedication to merit that Dr. Abene was appointed as the pioneer CMD of the hospital. He encouraged the CMD to continue upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability in the discharge of his duties.
The association chairman expressed confidence that Dr. Abene's tenure would be marked by innovation, institutional growth, and enduring reforms that would elevate the facility to greater heights. He prayed that Almighty God would grant the CMD wisdom, sound health, and divine guidance to lead the hospital successfully.
In his response, Dr. Abene appreciated the ECDA officials for taking time to visit and promised that he would make the Eggon Nation proud. He explained the hospital's establishment history, the relocation to a temporary site to allow for construction of the permanent facility, and the progress made so far. He also commended Governor Sule for his foresight in establishing the specialist hospital in the zone.
