Grassroots APC Leaders Hail Senator Katung’s Primary Victory in Southern Kaduna

A delegation of APC polling unit chairmen from Southern Kaduna on Tuesday paid a congratulatory visit to Senator Sunday Marshall Katung following his victory in the party’s primary election.

Leader of the delegation, Monday Iliya, said the visit was to celebrate Senator Katung’s emergence and reaffirm the support of grassroots party structures across Southern Kaduna.

Iliya noted that the senator’s victory reflected the confidence and trust party members have in his leadership and performance, describing the outcome as a reward for dedication and service to the people.

He said polling unit chairmen, being the foundation of the party structure at the grassroots, remained committed to mobilizing support and strengthening the APC across communities in Southern Kaduna.

According to him, the delegation came not only to congratulate the senator but also to assure him of their continued loyalty and readiness to work for the unity and progress of the party.

Responding, Senator Katung thanked the delegation for the visit and the support shown throughout the process.

He described the visit as a strong demonstration of unity and commitment by party faithful at the grassroots, noting that polling unit leaders play a vital role in sustaining and growing the party.

Senator Katung urged members to remain united and continue working together to strengthen the APC ahead of future political engagements, while assuring them of his continued commitment to quality representation and service to the people.
