REV. EXCELLENT MUSA KURYAS PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR APC GOVERNMENT, SET TO ENTER KADuna ASSEMBLY RACE

An aspirant for the Kaduna State House of Assembly seat representing Jaba Local Government Area, Honourable Excellent Musa Kuryas, has called on his constituents to rally behind the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administrations at all levels. He emphasized that unified support is crucial for sustaining the current trajectory of peace, security, and development.

Reverend Kuryas, who is set to officially declare his intention to contest for the seat next week in his constituency, made the appeal during an interview with journalists in Kaduna.

He urged the people to strongly back the administration of Governor Uba Sani, whom he described as a visionary leader. Kuryas noted that within just two years in office, the Governor has recorded remarkable progress in peace-building and infrastructure development.

He highlighted key achievements of the Sani administration, including its instrumental role in facilitating the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia and the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan. The aspirant also pointed to ongoing road construction projects across the state, the renovation and upgrading of Primary Health Centres and schools, as well as the distribution of over 900 trucks of free fertilizer to farmers—initiatives he said have had a direct and positive impact on grassroots communities.

Kuryas further encouraged residents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praising his commitment to inclusive governance. He cited as evidence the appointment of a son of Southern Kaduna, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, first as Chief of Defence Staff and subsequently as Minister of Defence. "These actions demonstrate recognition, inclusion, and trust in the people of Southern Kaduna," Kuryas stated.

"Supporting credible leadership and initiatives that promote progress is the surest way to guarantee meaningful development in every corner of our communities," he added.

Turning to his own political ambition, Kuryas pledged that if given the mandate, he would distinguish himself as a "Fresh Voice for Change." He stated that his vision is rooted in the belief that the voices of his people deserve to be heard and their concerns addressed promptly.

Outlining his blueprint for the constituency, he identified job creation, economic empowerment, quality education, and improved healthcare as top priorities. He also committed to focusing on infrastructure development, enhanced social amenities, and ensuring transparency and accountability in governance.

"If elected, I will work tirelessly to represent our constituency, listen to your concerns, and drive positive change. Let us build a brighter future for our people together," he concluded.
