Jema'a APC Stakeholders Rally Behind Daniel Amos, Endorse Second Term Bid

Stakeholders, groups, and youth organizations within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jema'a Local Government Area have reaffirmed their support for the Member representing Jema'a and Sanga Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Honourable Daniel Amos.

The endorsement was made during a meeting held at the lawmaker’s constituency office, where the group pledged their backing for his return ahead of the 2027 general elections. Honourable Daniel Amos currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on House Services.

The growing support across the constituency reflects confidence in Honourable Daniel Amos’ performance and a widespread desire for continuity in representation at the National Assembly.

Speaking at the event, an APC stalwart and convener of the meeting, Alhaji Isa Chiroma, described Honourable Daniel Amos as the best thing to happen to the people of Jema'a and Sanga in terms of quality representation. He praised Amos as a dedicated leader who has touched many lives and delivered dividends of democracy directly to the doorsteps of the people.

Chiroma noted that many may not fully appreciate the quality of leadership they currently enjoy until they visit the National Assembly, citing Amos’ immense connections. He added that the constituency would be unlucky to miss the opportunity of sending him back for a second term.

According to Chiroma, Honourable Daniel Amos should be encouraged to do more, given the achievements he has already recorded.

Also speaking, Honourable Bamas Bako, Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Tajudeen Abbas, said the constituency has benefited from effective, people-oriented representation under Amos.

Bako stated, “For those who may not be fully aware, I want to assure you that you are well represented. It is a privilege to work closely with our representative. In the chambers, it is clear that you have someone who speaks and stands for the people.”

He added that while not all achievements have been widely publicized, Amos has made visible contributions to the constituency’s development. He stressed that “there is still more to be done, but with continued support, greater progress can be achieved.”

Earlier, APC stakeholders in Sanga Local Government Area also endorsed the lawmaker’s 2027 return. This prompted youth leaders in Jema’a to echo the support and urge Amos to contest again.

The stakeholders likened their endorsement of continuity to a football strategy, noting that “a coach does not substitute his best goal scorer with a trainee during a crucial match,” underscoring their confidence in the lawmaker’s performance.

In a unanimous resolution reached via a communique read at the end of the meeting by Barrister Ezekiel Dyagas, all APC members present at the ward, local government, and state levels from Jema’a LGA pledged their support for Honourable Daniel Amos, Kaduna State Governor, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
