As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, has extended his felicitations to the Muslim faithful in his constituency and across Nigeria.

In a statement released to newsmen on Saturday, the Senator conveyed his warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all Muslims on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

"Ramadan has been a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, compassion, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah," Senator Katung said. "It has reminded us of the virtues of patience, humility, generosity, and unity—values that are essential not only to our faith but also to the growth and progress of our society."

He noted that Eid-el-Fitr is not merely a celebration but a moment of gratitude to Allah for granting the strength to complete the fast, as well as an opportunity to carry the lessons learned forward into daily life. "I encourage us all to remain steadfast in righteousness, continue to support one another, and uphold peace and harmony in our communities," he added.

Commending the people of Kaduna South for their resilience and peace-loving nature, the Senator expressed deep appreciation for their continued support, prayers, and commitment to the collective progress of the district. "Your strength and unity remain the foundation upon which we will continue to build a brighter and more prosperous future for all," he stated.

Reaffirming his dedication to his constituents, Senator Katung pledged to promote policies and initiatives aimed at uplifting the people, empowering youth, supporting women, and improving the overall well-being of communities. "Together, we will continue to strive for sustainable development, security, and inclusive growth," he said.

The Senator also extended his greetings to all Nigerians, praying that the festive season would strengthen the bonds of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect among all, irrespective of tribe, religion, or background. He urged citizens to use the occasion to renew their commitment to peace, national cohesion, and the collective advancement of the nation.

"As we celebrate, I urge everyone to do so responsibly, extend kindness to the less privileged, and keep in mind the true essence of Eid—love, sharing, and gratitude," he advised.

Senator Katung concluded with a prayer that Almighty Allah accepts the people’s prayers, fasting, and good deeds, and grants them continued peace, good health, and abundant blessings, guiding all on the path of righteousness
