Nenadi Usman, Labour Party Chair, Rallies Nigerians for 'New Nigeria' Ahead of 2027"

Senator Nenadi Esther Usman, PhD, the National Interim Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), has urged party faithful and all Nigerians to welcome the new year with a renewed commitment to building a just, prosperous nation.

In a New Year message released on Thursday, Dr. Usman stated that with unity and determination, the party is poised to reclaim the country and secure a brighter future, particularly for its youth.

The Labour Party leader said the dawn of 2026 makes it incumbent on all citizens to rise to the responsibility of entrenching good governance. She positioned the Labour Party as the vehicle to achieve this and turn around the nation’s fortunes by the 2027 elections.

Dr. Usman emphasized that Nigerians must not allow any political party to toy with the country’s future again, as she argued is currently the case under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

While wishing Nigerians a peaceful and fruitful 2026, the LP Interim Chairman called for unwavering support to help the party restore hope and confidence in national governance.
