Lafia, January 19, 2026 – The gubernatorial campaign of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu under the Ustas Network banner has opened its new office in Akunzan Jarmai, Lafia. The inauguration ceremony took place today at approximately 5:30 PM at a specially arranged venue.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Ali Baggio, Sulaiman Mohd Agyo, and Ado Garin Akurba, Chairman of the G7, alongside other key members and supporters.
The gathering highlighted the growing coalition of support for IGP Adamu from diverse sectors within Nasarawa State. In his capacity as a former Inspector General of Police, Adamu has received notable endorsements from groups such as the Allied Group of Nasarawa Professionals (AGNP), which has pledged to mobilize one million votes in support of his candidacy.
Additionally, various youth associations and traditional leaders have publicly affirmed their backing for Adamu’s bid, citing his administrative experience and strategic vision as crucial assets for leading Nasarawa State forward. The opening of this office marks a significant step in consolidating grassroots support ahead of the upcoming elections.
