Ambulance Donation Boosts Campus Healthcare at Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, has received a significant boost to its healthcare and emergency response capabilities following the donation of a brand-new ambulance by Rep. Daniel Amos, Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency.

The ambulance was formally handed over this afternoon by a delegation led by the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Samuel Isah Shamaki. During a brief ceremony on campus, the vehicle’s keys and documents were presented to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Quirix William Barnabas.

Speaking on behalf of Rep. Amos, Hon. Shamaki emphasized the legislator’s strong commitment to education and his belief that a safe and healthy environment is essential for academic excellence. He explained that the donation aims to enhance the welfare of students, staff, and the wider university community, noting that prompt medical care is a cornerstone of any functional academic institution.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Quirix William Barnabas expressed profound gratitude for the timely donation. He described the ambulance as a critical asset that will improve emergency medical response on campus, helping to protect lives and foster a more secure learning atmosphere. The Vice-Chancellor also praised Rep. Amos for his sustained support toward education and assured that the vehicle would be put to effective use.
