Beauty of Ham Organization Honors Six Distinguished Leaders

A non-governmental organization, The Beauty of Ham, presented awards of honor to six illustrious sons and daughters of the Ham community.

The award recipients included:

· Barrister (Dr.) Deborah Usman Jakadiya (Jaba/Jaruman Jama'a)

· Professor Tunga Lergo

· Hon. Gabriel Saleh Zock, Member of the National Assembly representing Kagarko/Kachia Constituency

· Hon. Henry Marah, Member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly

· Mrs. Deborah Stephen

· Engineer Yusuf Matashi (Shiminga)

The ceremony took place in Tsakiya Daddu, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, during the Christmas celebrations.

In his address, the Chairman of the association, Comrade Emmanuel Adams, explained that the organization is a group of like-minded youths from the Jaba tribe, aimed at contributing to rapid capital and human development in Jaba land.

He stated that the recipients were honored for the roles they have played in bringing meaningful progress to the community.

Adams reiterated the association's commitment to encouraging innovation and motivating Jaba’s distinguished sons and daughters to further elevate living standards and advocate for good governance.

He urged the honorees to sustain their efforts whenever called upon to advance the community.

In a remark, the Director of Publicity and Information for The Beauty of Ham, Comrade Daniel Bulus (Danny Young), affirmed that the association has been and will continue to render services to their homeland, humanity, and the nation at large.

Danny Young congratulated the awardees and encouraged them to keep the people’s interests at heart, allowing the recognition to inspire greater contributions.

He also called on other stakeholders and well-meaning individuals in the community to emulate the honorees and support the development of Ham land.

Speaking on behalf of the award recipients, Professor Tunga Lergo commended The Beauty of Ham for its philanthropic activities, which he described as timely and aligned with his own initiatives.

Represented by Comrade Obadiah Iliya, Professor Lergo said the awards would motivate recipients to redouble their efforts in serving humanity and fostering development.

While urging the association to sustain its efforts, he assured them of support whenever needed.
