By: Abubakar Labaran

Honourable Daniel Amos, the Member representing Jema'a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has vehemently condemned the recent deadly attack on Tanda community in Asso Ward, Jema'a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In a press statement issued by his Media Aide, Victor Teh Dabo, the lawmaker expressed profound grief over the senseless violence that led to the loss of innocent lives.

"I have received with deep pain and sadness the disturbing news of yet another senseless attack that claimed innocent lives in Tanda," Amos stated. He described the assault as "not only reprehensible but a grave attack on the sanctity of human life and the peace we have all laboured to sustain in our constituency."

The legislator called for immediate action from security agencies, urging them to "swing into action, investigate the incident thoroughly, apprehend the perpetrators, and ensure that justice is served without delay."

He emphasized that "the lives lost must not be in vain, and those behind this dastardly act must face the full wrath of the law."

While mourning with the Gwong Traditional Council, the families of the victims, and the entire Tanda community, Honourable Amos passionately appealed for calm. He cautioned against any form of retaliation, warning that "reprisal attacks will only worsen everyone's pain and threaten the fragile peace we are striving to maintain."

Reassuring his constituents, the lawmaker promised, "As your representative, I will continue to engage with security authorities and relevant stakeholders to strengthen peace and ensure that such tragic occurrences are prevented in the future."

He concluded by praying for the souls of the departed to rest in peace and for divine comfort for their grieving families and the entire constituency.
