In a spirited display of solidarity and political resolve, women leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from Zone 3 gathered to reaffirm their unwavering support for Senator Sunday Marshall Katung.
The event, convened by Miss Nah Gambo, the dynamic Women Leader of the SMK Campaigns, served as both a celebration of the Senator’s achievements and a rallying cry for future victories.
Held at the Senator’s District Office in Kafanchan, the meeting drew women leaders from across the local government areas of the senatorial district, including representatives from Divas for SMK, an all-women support group led by Freda Isuwa.
Addressing the crowd, Miss Nah Gambo praised Senator Katung’s commitment to women’s empowerment, rural development, education, and healthcare. “Senator Katung is not just a leader; he is a listener, a doer, and a builder of futures. We supported him in 2023, and we will support him again in 2027 because he has proven himself,” she declared, sparking resounding applause.
She emphasized that PDP women in Zone 3 are not merely participants in politics but “architects of change,” reinforcing their rallying cry: “SMK in 2023, and SMK again in 2027!”
Several women leaders shared testimonials of the Senator’s impact—highlighting his scholarship programs for indigent students, empowerment initiatives for widows and young women, and his steadfast advocacy for the region.
The meeting also featured strategic planning sessions, with discussions on grassroots mobilization, voter engagement, and leveraging social media to amplify their campaign. The focus on training, door-to-door outreach, and digital activism underscored their modern and determined approach to securing victory in the coming elections.
