Mwaghavul Youth Movement Condemns Fulani Terrorists' Atrocities, Calls for Unity Against Common Enemy


The National President of the Mwaghavul Youth Movement, Comrade Kyesmang Jonathan Yusuf, expressed concern over the baseless accusations made by some Fulani individuals, which they believe are intended to justify further attacks on their people and land.

The Mwaghavul Youth Movement in a press briefing held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Plateau State Council Jos, to condemned the recent atrocities committed by Fulani terrorists against the Mwaghavul Nation.

The movement demand for the immediate arrest of the Mangu branch Chairman of Miyatti Allah cattle Bearers Association of Nigeria, MACBAN  and his cohorts over threats to  communities in the land.

"The Mwaghavul Nation has been a victim of coordinated genocide since April 13, 2023, resulting in the displacement of over 65,000 villagers, destruction of over 6,111 houses, and loss of over 600 lives"

"A Fulani leader, the MACBAN Chairman of Mangu LGA, made threats against the Mwaghavul community in a viral video, while another individual, Bilal Gambo, made provocative and defamatory statements against the Mwaghavul people"

The Mwaghavul Youth Movement called on all Plateau youths to unite against the common enemy, the terrorists, and urged the government to provide security and investigate the sources of these terrorists.

The movement condemned every act of terrorism and criminality, demanding immediate and concrete actions against their activities on the Plateau and beyond and demanded justice for the victims of the ongoing genocide and called on the government to take concrete actions to empower them to protect their people and land.


The Mwaghavul Youth Movement  however urged all members to remain peaceful and law-abiding but never to be intimidated or succumb to the known strategies of the terrorists. They also called on youths of all ethnic groups on the Plateau and Nigeria to rise to the occasion of defending their territories against the terrorists.
