Nasarawa State Government Hosts 3-Day Retreat to Foster Collaboration and Synergy

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has inaugurated a 3-day management retreat aimed at enhancing collaboration and synergy between political appointees and top government officials. The retreat, organized in collaboration with the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), brings together commissioners, members of the state executive council, special advisers, and senior special assistants.

The primary objective of the retreat is to bridge the gap between political office holders and government functionaries, promoting a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Governor Sule emphasized the need for synergy and collaboration to achieve the development objectives of his administration. Key areas of focus include relationship building, team building, security, and transition.

The retreat provides a platform for participants to engage in introspective self-reflection and paradigm shift, emerging as more effective leaders. The Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS) document will be a key focus, guiding the implementation of participants' mandates. Governor Sule cautioned political appointees against engaging in partisan politics, emphasizing the need for transparency, accountability, and prudent resource management.

The 3-day retreat is a significant step towards transforming Nasarawa State through synergy and collaborative leadership. By fostering a culture of cooperation and teamwork, the state government aims to drive development and progress, ultimately improving the socioeconomic well-being of its citizens.
