President Bola Tinubu has approved the extension of Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap's tenure as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) until December 31, 2026.¹ Initially appointed on March 1, 2024, with a term set to end on August 31, 2025, Nandap's leadership has seen significant advancements in the NIS's core mandate
Under her leadership, the NIS has achieved notable improvements in Enhanced security measures to protect Nigeria's territorial integrity,
Streamlined procedures for safer, more efficient migration, and Strengthened protocols to promote safe, legal, and orderly migration.
President Tinubu commended Nandap for her exemplary leadership, urging her to continue prioritizing the Service's strategic objectives, which align with his administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
