Jema’a LG Chairman Condemns Arson Attack on APC Chairman’s Ginger Farm

The Executive Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area in Kaduna State, *Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara*, has expressed deep sympathy over the destruction of a ginger farm belonging to the APC Local Government Party Chairman, *Alhaji Ibrahim Koli Aliyu*. The farm was set ablaze by unknown persons on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, resulting in significant losses.
Speaking to journalists in Kafanchan, Hon. Dogara condemned the act and urged the public, particularly youths, to remain calm and avoid taking the law into their own hands. He stressed the importance of vigilance and prompt reporting of bush fires, assuring that the perpetrators would be apprehended and prosecuted.
The Chairman also warned against activities that could trigger wildfires, such as careless disposal of cigarettes or matches, especially during the current period of extreme heat and dry weather.
In his response, Alhaji Ibrahim Koli described the incident as a painful setback but affirmed his faith in God and commitment to continue serving the people of Jema’a LGA. He vowed not to be deterred from pursuing legitimate livelihood and providing quality leadership to the community.
