RIJO SHEKARI FORMALLY JOINS APC

Rijo Shekari, a Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Godswill Akpabio, and a prominent figure from Zangon Kataf Local Government Area in Kaduna State, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a member.

The Zangon Kataf Local Government Area Chairman of the APC, Comrade Markus Bahago, welcomed Shekari at the party's office in Zonkwa earlier this week. Bahago described Shekari as a person with a strong track record who will contribute positively to the APC. He expressed optimism that Shekari's wealth of experience would enhance the party's operations.

In his remarks, Shekari expressed his joy at joining the APC, citing the inclusive approach of President Bola Tinubu's administration as a key factor in his decision. 

He highlighted several appointments made by the Tinubu administration in Southern Kaduna, along with the Renewed Hope Agenda, as reasons for his attraction to the APC. Shekari also praised the leadership style of Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani as another motivating factor for his decision to join the party.

The Vice Chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government, Godwin Ishaya Dandaura, also welcomed Shekari to the APC and urged party members to resolve internal issues amicably. He emphasized that political benefits come at different times and in various forms, advising members to be patient and avoid unnecessary conflicts.

The event also featured the commissioning of a borehole in Ramai village and the rehabilitation of a motorized borehole in Kurdan, both projects executed by Rijo Shekari. Reverend Samuel Joshua, speaking on behalf of the Ramai community, thanked Shekari for addressing the community's long-standing challenge of accessing potable drinking water. 

This development marks a significant addition to the APC in Kaduna State, as Shekari brings his experience and influence to the party.
