Governor Sule Presents Project Vehicles to Agencies, Stimulate Investment Initiatives.

Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule has distributed another fleet of five Toyota Hilux as project vehicles to aid the front line agencies of the state who are saddled with the responsibilities of attracting investment friendly environment to Nasarawa State.

He made the presentation Wednesday 29th January, 2025 at his Government House Car-Porch where he restated his administration's commitment in providing atmosphere that is conducive for businesses to thrive.

Engineer Sule explained that the vehicles had been allocated to frontline agencies in the state who had been driving businesses and investments friendly initiatives which includes: Nasarawa Geographic Information Service (NAGIS), Nasarawa Investment Development Agency (NASIDA) and Security Agency.

The Governor stressed that the vehicles were bought through the resources provided by State Action for Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) a World Bank programme that is predicated in improving efficiency of land administration, regulatory framework for private investment in fiber optic infrastructure and services provided by investment promotion agencies as well as public-private partnership units of NASIDA.

He equally noted that his administration support in collaboration with the World Bank will continue to provide business friendly environment that will cover the entire gamut of instruments which impact states’ land administration, business enabling infrastructure, public-private partnership (PPP) and investment promotion frameworks, as well as business enabling regulatory environment.

He equally pointed out that the presentation of the vehicles had become necessary in empowering especially the security agencies who are doing wonderful work in the area of providing peaceful atmosphere for investors to come into the state.

Nigeria: States Action for Business Enabling Reforms programme also facilitates the efficiency and transparency of government-to-business services in participating states as its integral development objectives.
