KADUNA ACCOUNTANT GENERAL HAILED AS SOUTHERN KADUNA’S FINEST AT PALACE HOMECOMING

The Jama'a Emirate Council in Jema'a Local Government Area of Kaduna State hosted a lavish homecoming reception on Saturday for the newly appointed Kaduna State Accountant General, Alh. Gambo Musa Ilallah, drawing a crowd of top government officials, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders from across Southern Kaduna to the Emir's palace in Kafanchan.

Governor Uba Sani, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, praised the appointment as strictly merit-based, noting that Alhaji Gambo Musa's extensive experience in public finance made him the ideal choice. "He brings years of experience in public finance. I urge him to deploy that experience toward promoting peace, unity, and the overall development of Kaduna State," the Governor stated, while charging the new Accountant General to champion transparency and drive economic growth.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Finance, Honourable Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed, who served as chairman of the occasion, lauded the appointee as a man of integrity and professionalism, saying the appointment "reflects the Governor's confidence in competence." He also thanked the Emir and Emirate Council for organising the warm reception.

In his royal address, the Emir of Jama'a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu, expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for honouring the Emirate with the appointment, calling it a proud moment for the entire Southern Kaduna region. He appealed to the people to rally behind Alhaji Gambo Musa with prayers and constructive counsel.

Responding, the Accountant General thanked God and Governor Uba Sani for the trust placed in him, pledging to serve with transparency, accountability, and unwavering dedication. He described the reception as deeply motivating and commended the Emir and the people of Jama'a for their overwhelming support.

The event featured a colourful display of cultural dances, the presence of traditional rulers from across Southern Kaduna, and the presentation of awards to the celebrant.
