The governor was accompanied by top government officials. Dr. Abene and the contractor conducted the governor round the project and explained the architectural design and layout of the hospital.

The permanent site of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Akwanga is expected to expand access to specialised healthcare services and improve medical delivery to residents of Akwanga and neighbouring communities when completed. The project is part of the state government’s broader effort to strengthen infrastructure in the health sector.

The inspection is one of the activities lined up by the governor to mark Nasarawa State’s 30th anniversary.
