The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Akwanga, Dr. Esala E. Abene, has appealed to the executive committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ubbe ward to sustain its loyalty to Governor Abdullahi Sule’s policies, programs, and future political ambitions.
Dr. Abene made this appeal while addressing the Ubbe ward APC executive committee during a visit. He stated that continued support for the governor would attract more benefits to the area.
He also urged the officials to intensify grassroots mobilization in support of the governor, citing his development record across the state.
Dr. Abene expressed appreciation to the executive committee for the visit and for congratulating him on his appointment as CMD of the state specialist hospital. He added that they should feel free to offer constructive advice that would advance both the hospital and the community at any time.
Earlier, the APC Ubbe ward chairman, Malle Paul Eggon, said the visit was to congratulate Dr. Abene on his appointment, noting that this has given the ward a voice in the state.
He urged the CMD to support efforts toward strengthening the party at the ward level ahead of the 2027 general elections. "Your leadership is what we need to guide us as stakeholders in the community," he said.
He also solicited the CMD’s support for Hon. Jacob Kudu’s bid to return to the state House of Assembly for a second term.
