Umbugadu's return to PDP sign of immaturity-Ibrahim Hamza

A former spokesman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Nasarawa State Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed Hamza has described the redefection of Rt Hon. Dr. David Emmanuel Umbugadu from the ruling APC back to PDP as a sign of political immaturity.

Hamza made the remark while reacting to the purpoted resignation of Mr. Umbugadu from the APC.

Report widely circulated on social media platforms indicates that a letter of resignation tendered by Umbugadu to his Ikka Wangibi electoral ward APC chairman of Nasarawa Eggon LGA was cited on Tuesday evening barely three weeks after joining the party from the PDP.

The former opposition figure who is now a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State emphasized the necessity for policians to stick to their words and maintain consistency.

He said David Umbugadu, the 2023 governorship candidate of the PDP has demonstrated clearly that he lacks courage to confront his political battles and appears to be desperate about grabbing power without clear purpose on how to utilize it.

Hamza believes that if given the opportunity to govern Nasarawa State,  Umbugadu may be faced with the challenges of policy inconsistencies that may mar the development of Nasarawa State.

He however maintained that with or without Umbugadu,  the ruling APC under Engr. Abdullahi Sule is well structured to win its elections at all levels, urging the people of Nasarawa State not to reject his back and forth movement.

Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed Hamza who was a former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representating Lafia Central Constituency appealed to the people of Nasarawa North Senatorial district to mobilize massively to support Governor Abdullahi Sule in his Senatorial aspiration for the zone.

He insisted that the Governor has done so much for the zone and has garnered much experiences to provide quality representation at the National level.
