Rev. Excellent Kuryas Vows to Drive Development in Jaba Constituency Ahead of 2027 Poll

Jaba Local Government, Kaduna State — Reverend Excellent Musa Kuryas, an aspirant for the Kaduna State House of Assembly seat representing Jaba Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering positive change across Jaba, Kaduna State, and Nigeria if elected in 2027.

Speaking to journalists on Tuesday in his hometown of Kuryas Daddu, Jaba Local Government Area, Rev. Kuryas expressed hope and enthusiasm for the coming year. In a special New Year’s message to his constituents, he wished them peace, prosperity, and progress in 2026.

“My heart is devoted to serving you,” he stated, “and I am eager to work tirelessly to bring positive change to our Local Government.” He called on the people to grant him the mandate to represent their interests, pledging that together they could build a brighter future.

“Let us make 2026 a year of growth, innovation, and unity,” Kuryas urged. “I am counting on your support to ensure our voices are heard in the House of Assembly.”

Highlighting key pillars of his vision, he emphasized improved access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, promising to prioritize the needs of the community through responsive and inclusive leadership.

Rev. Excellent Musa Kuryas brings a wealth of experience in both faith-based and public service roles. He previously served as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Secretary for Zaria Local Government Area and represented Christians in Zaria Federal Constituency in the distribution of democracy dividends under the Office of the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.

A former teacher and administrator, he has also served as a church pastor for over ten years, leading the Siloam Baptist Church in Gwargwaje, Zaria. He holds a Master’s in Theology, specializing in Christian Ethics and Pastoral Care and Counseling, from the Baptist Theological Seminary in Kaduna, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
