Bethel Baptist Church Honors Deaconess for Year-Long Support of Pastor’s Allowance

Bethel Baptist Church in Kogum Dutse, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has presented an award to Deaconess Victoria Daniel Amos in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the church. Deaconess Amos personally funded the pastor’s monthly allowance from January through December of this year.

During the presentation, Reverend Joseph Labaran urged the congregation to reflect with gratitude on God’s blessings. He emphasized that God’s grace and favor are granted according to His will and timing, not by human effort or wisdom

Reverend Labaran also encouraged worshippers to embody love, care, and mutual support, as practiced by the early apostles, and to thank God for the gift of life. He further reminded believers that a life of thanksgiving opens the door to greater blessings.

In her acceptance remarks, Deaconess Victoria extended wishes of joy and peace to the public on the occasion of Christ’s birth. She urged all to demonstrate love and sacrifice during and after the celebrations.

Several church members expressed gratitude for God’s protection and health throughout the year and pledged to use the festive period as a time of sacrifice and thanksgiving.
