Senator Katung Praises Tinubu, Shettima, and Gov. Uba Sani for Establishing Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia

Senator Sunday Marshall Katung of Kaduna South Senatorial District has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for their collaborative efforts in establishing the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia.  

Katung conveyed his gratitude while accompanying senior officials from the Federal Ministry of Education, led by the Director of University Education, Hajiya Rakiya Gambo Salisu, on an inspection visit to the newly approved institution.  

The delegation assessed the university’s facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and the library, in preparation for the commencement of academic activities by September 2025.  

"I am immensely delighted that this institution has become a reality in our time," Katung said. "I extend my sincere gratitude to President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, and Governor Uba Sani for their pivotal roles in bringing this vision to life."  

He also commended the Minister of Education and the ministry’s officials for their dedication to ensuring the university opens as scheduled.
