CALEB DANLADI FOUNDATION RE-ENROLLS 300 VULNERABLE RESIDENTS IN KADUNA HEALTH SCHEME

In a continued effort to improve healthcare access for underserved communities, the Caleb Danladi Foundation has renewed the one-year health insurance coverage for 300 vulnerable residents of Kwoi in Jaba Local Government Area under the Kaduna State Contributory Health Scheme (KADCHMA).  

The enrollment drive, held at the Foundation’s headquarters in Samban Gida, was officially launched by its founder, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, who reiterated the importance of equitable healthcare for all, particularly the poor and marginalized.  

The scheme provides enrollees with a comprehensive health benefits package, covering preventive and curative services at accredited public and private health facilities across Kaduna State.  

Captain Bako emphasized that the initiative aligns with the Foundation’s mission to reduce the financial burden of healthcare on disadvantaged groups.  

“Our vision is to ensure no one is denied medical care due to poverty,” he said. “Healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and we remain committed to supporting our most vulnerable community members.”  

The Director-General of KADCHMA, Malam Abubakar Hassan, represented by the Head of Administration and Finance, Mallam Suleiman Abubakar, praised the Foundation’s partnership, calling it a commendable example for others to follow.  

He highlighted the scheme’s role in ensuring inclusive access to quality healthcare for all Kaduna State residents, irrespective of economic status.  

Reverend Jerry Andrew, National President of the Ham Development Association, applauded the initiative as a progressive step for the Ham community and urged other leaders to emulate such impactful interventions.  

Beneficiaries—including elderly individuals, widows, orphans, and persons with disabilities—expressed heartfelt appreciation, offering prayers for Captain Bako and the Foundation’s humanitarian efforts.  

Beyond the health insurance renewal, the Foundation also conducted a free medical outreach in honor of Captain Bako’s late father, who passed away two months ago.  

The Caleb Danladi Foundation remains a key driver of education, healthcare, and youth empowerment initiatives across Southern Kaduna, further solidifying its legacy of service.
