Governor Sule Urges Muslim to Sustain Lessons of Ramadan

Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule has admonished Muslims in the state to sustain the lessons learnt during Ramadan period through virtues of sacrifice and self-restraint moving forward.

The Governor gave the administration shortly after performing the Eid two Raka'at prayers at the Assasul Islam JIBWIS Mosque opposite his country home residence in Gudi Akwanga local government area of the state Sunday March 30th, 2025.

" Today presents to us another opportunity to see the act of God and the opportunity to work together as a people. For us who have just finished this Ramadan fast, that we sustain what we learnt during the month of ramadan ...

" Because the whole essence of the teachings of the month of Ramadan is for us to come together, make sacrifices in total obedience to the Almighty God and his teachings through the prophet. Ensuring that we sustain those teachings in obedience is the important thing to do " He enjoined Muslims.

The Governor equally urged the people of the state to continue to work together as team; praying and helping each other surmount the challenges of life as well as development imperatives.

Earlier during the Eid two Raka'at prayers Mallam Suleiman Barde gave a sermon on how imperative it is for the privilege members of the society to always lend a helping hands to the less privileged.

He stressed that helping those in need attracts multiple blessings from Allah who sees and rewards all acts of benevolence with unfailing precision.

The two Raka'at Eid prayers was led by the Imam Idris Mohammed.
