Barrister Moyi Plages Sustainable Development in Nasarawa's Land Sector.

Following the recent redeployment of Commissioner for Legal and sundry matters, Barrister Sule David Moyi, to the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development, the commissioner has formally taken over the leadership of the ministry. He has pledged to establish a working land administrative system for the sustainable development of Nasarawa State, with urban planning and infrastructure being top priorities.

According to Barrister Moyi, the rapid growth of towns in the state necessitates the development of smart, well-planned urban spaces that cater to the needs of both current and future generations. He emphasized that land management is a critical issue, and protecting and managing state land resources must be done in a manner that promotes long-term sustainability.

To achieve this, the ministry under his leadership will strengthen the land tenure system, resolve land disputes, and ensure that land use aligns with the needs of both rural and urban development. Barrister Moyi expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve as commissioner and commended the governor's tireless efforts to create a better Nasarawa State.

Outgoing Commissioner Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga praised the ministry's team as perfect and result-oriented. He appealed to the management and staff to extend the same support to his predecessor.

 Permanent Secretary ESV Khalid Adamu congratulated and welcomed the new commissioner while wishing the outgoing commissioner the best in his new place of assignment.
