SSUCOEN Chairman Commends Senator Katung Over Free JAMB Registration for Southern Kaduna Students

The Chairman of the Senior Staff Union of Colleges of Education Nigeria (SSUCOEN), Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya chapter, Comrade David Yashim Thomas, has praised Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for his initiative to provide free JAMB registration for qualified applicants in the Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone.  

Speaking to journalists in his office at Gidan Waya, Comrade Thomas highlighted the senator’s comprehensive program, which includes free JAMB registration, free UTME mock exams, free CBT training, and free career counseling. He emphasized that these efforts would significantly benefit students across the zone, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds who have historically faced challenges in accessing such opportunities.  

Comrade Thomas noted that Senator Katung’s initiative reflects his unwavering commitment to educational development in Southern Kaduna. He described the program as a transformative step that would empower students to pursue higher education and make informed decisions about their academic futures.  

The SSUCOEN chairman also expressed gratitude for the senator’s consistent efforts to uplift the zone through education and youth development. He described Senator Katung as a champion of progress, whose legacy would have a lasting impact on generations to come.  

Comrade Thomas assured the senator that his constituents deeply appreciate his dedication to addressing their needs and aspirations. He pledged continued support and prayers for Senator Katung, describing him as a model of quality leadership and a true representative of the people.  

The free JAMB registration initiative is part of Senator Katung’s broader efforts to promote education and create opportunities for the youth in Southern Kaduna, ensuring that no student is left behind in their pursuit of academic excellence.
