Southern Kaduna Killings: Senator Katung Calls for Immediate Action.

Senator Sunday Marshall Katung has expressed deep concern over the renewed attacks, killings, and kidnappings in Southern Kaduna communities, particularly in Kauru, Kachia, Zangon Kataf, Kaura, and Sanga Local Government Areas.

 These heinous crimes have brought immense pain and hardship to the people, and Senator Katung stressed that they must be condemned in their entirety.

Recently, bandits abducted 22 locals, mostly women and children, in separate attacks in Kauru Local Government Area. Senator Katung emphasizes that these atrocities against the people of Southern Kaduna must not continue unchecked and urges immediate action to stop them.

As the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District,¹ Senator Katung is committed to prioritizing the safety and security of every citizen. He is collaborating with the Kaduna State Government and the Chief of Defence Staff to establish a Forward Operation Base (FOB) in Kauru local government and other communities to confront the assailants.

Senator Katung commends the bravery of the security agencies and appeals to them to intensify their efforts in ensuring the security of lives and property across Southern Kaduna. He also urges the community to partner with the security agencies in providing relevant information to arrest the criminal elements and their informants.
