Fire inferno: Zamfara Ex-Lawmaker commiserates with victims families

The former house of representatives member representing Shinkafi and Zurmi federal constituency, Hon Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi has condoled with the family of fire outbreak which claimed the lives of 17 Almajiri pupils in Kaura Namoda town the headquarters of Kaura Namoda local government of Zamfara state recently.

Hon. Shinkafi in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Sanusi Garba Akarami Shinkafi, described the incident as a great loss not only to the families of the victims but Zamfara and county as a whole.

Hon. Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi also commiserated with Kaura Namoda emirate, Kaura Namoda local government over the incident.

According to him, the incident is ordained by Almighty Allah and pray Allah to grants eternal rest to the deceased .

"I received with shock the sad incident of fire outbreak at almajiri's school which caused the deaths of 17  children while some were injured and admitted to hospital in Kaura Namoda town and I pray Almighty Allah to grants eternal rest to those who lost their lives in the incident ". He added 

On those that are alive, Hon Shinkafi pray Allah to give them quick recovery. 

However, on the issue of insecurity as a result of resurgence of banditry in Shinkafi and Zurmi local government areas, Hon. Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi urged the federal government to deploy more troops to the area to mitigate terrorists bandits and restore peace in the area. 


He also commended security personnel deployed to the area for their unwavering commitment in the fight against terrorists in the area. 

"I want to call on federal government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deploy more security operatives in entire Zamfara North to contain the lingering insecurity affecting our area due to the activities of armed terrorists bandits for peace to thrive in the area . 


He called on people in the area to remain law abiding citizens by providing privileged information to security personnel about the terrorists strange movement and hideouts for prompt response
