MBF Accuses Newspaper of Bias over Zaria Institutions

The Middle Belt Forum (MBF) has issued a press statement questioning the motives of a newspaper that failed to condemn the establishment of four new federal tertiary institutions in Zaria town, Kaduna State. The statement, signed by Chairman Luka Binniyat, pointed out that Zaria already has 11 federal institutions, raising concerns about the fairness and equity of the new establishments.

The MBF wondered why the newspaper chose to remain silent on this issue, particularly given its criticism of other developments. This silence, according to the MBF, suggests that the newspaper may have ulterior motives or biases.

The statement highlights the need for fairness, equity, and transparency in the establishment of federal institutions, ensuring that all regions are treated equally and without prejudice.
