
Jos North Council Chairman Receives Accolades for Quality Leadership
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council has commended Jos North Local Government Chairman, John Christopher, for his outstanding achievements within his first 100 days in office. The NUJ Chairman, Ayuku Pwaspo, praised Christopher's transformative initiatives, which have brought significant development to the locality.
Pwaspo emphasized that the NUJ is impressed with Christopher's remarkable achievements across all sectors. Noting that the council's headquarters is located within Jos North, Pwaspo highlighted the need to support his administration by sharing his accomplishments with the public. She encouraged Christopher to sustain his efforts, particularly in controlling tricycle operations and community market development.
Chairman John Christopher thanked the NUJ for their visit, describing journalists as "guiding angels and watchdogs of the society." He outlined his administration's focus on providing a conducive working environment, prioritizing health, agriculture, water resources, youth and women empowerment, and other essential services.
Christopher emphasized his commitment to collaborating with journalists to amplify the council's position on key programs and address multidimensional crimes. He also promised to visit the NUJ Secretariat to interface with members and keep them informed about his administration's activities.
