Jos North Council Chairman Commends Appointment of Former Senate Minority Leader as PDP North Central Screening Committee Chair

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Barrister John Kyohroh Christopher, has warmly welcomed the appointment of former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Simon Mwadkon, as Chairman of the North Central Screening Committee by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention. 

In his congratulatory message, signed by Philip Eplong, the Assistant Chief Information Officer of the Council, Christopher praised Senator Mwadkon's impressive political trajectory, which includes stints as Chairman of Riyom, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, and the immediate past Senate Minority Leader.

He noted that the former Minority Leader served with gallantry, patriotism and commitment, expressing optimism that the lawmaker will discharge his responsibility creditably well to ensure the PDP parade quality Leader's to set the party on the path of growth and development. 

He observed that Senator Mwadkon's contributions to the party's success in the last general elections are invaluable which has earned him a lot of accolades. 

The Chairman described Senator Mwadkon as a grassroots political icon, a stabilizer, and a key player who has earned the trust and confidence of his people. He expressed confidence that Senator Mwadkon will bring his expertise and commitment to the new role, ensuring fairness and justice in the screening process.

The Jos North Local Government Council Chairman assured Senator Mwadkon of the support of the people of Jos North  and best wishes in his new role.
